Layered clay carries the quiet passage of time.
As my hands open each new form, a gentle stillness begins to breathe within it.
What emerges is not splendor, but a calm presence that lives naturally beside everyday life.
I create my work in a small atelier next to my home in Onojo City, Fukuoka, Japan.
Surrounded by mountains, rivers, and the subtle rhythm of daily life, each piece is shaped slowly by hand.
Using neriage — a traditional Japanese technique of layered clay — I allow patterns to emerge naturally rather than forcing control.
Each work is made in limited numbers and intended to exist quietly in a space, bringing depth, balance, and a moment of stillness to everyday living.
